Derrick Thomas, Welcome to the Hall of Fame.

Finally, and about 5 years late, arguably the greatest Linebacker in Professional Football has been inducted to the Hall of Fame. The year he was drafted, I became a Chief fan. I was 14 years old and was disgusted with my old team. I watched Derrick single handedly take over games. When he died back at the end of the 90's, the Chiefs died with him. We were never able to be competitive. Competitive in a way that Defenses scare people.
On August 8, DT will be forever enshrined. As awesome as it would be to see it in person, I smile, because I have seen him play, and have had so much fun watching him play.
