WARNING! MYSTERY SHOPPER PLC letters are a SCAM!

I just got a check in the mail for $4,270. It was a company who wanted me to do some Mystery Shopping for them. Then another part asks you to test Western Union or Money Gram. The money is to be sent to a random person somewhere in the country. It seemed extremely fishy so I did a search and came across this SITE.

After reading that, and looking at the check closely, I can see some horrible Photoshop work on the check, to the point I can see VOID written over it numerous times.

If you do get one of these checks, DO NOT CASH IT!

After you wire the money to "test" Western Union, then check will bounce and the bank will come after you for the money.

Be VERY Careful out there!

The Golden Elbow

A few posts ago, I mentioned our trip to Vegas, where we stayed in the luxurious Bellagio. One story I wanted to share separately was a small adventure after we checked out. We got tickets to go see David Copperfield, the amazing Magician. We walked around Vegas a bit then a little bit before the show we sat at the slots to wait for the line to start.

Now, I do want to clarify somethings. One right off the bat, we do not gamble. Now I, like some, will have some change and drop a quarter in once in a great while for fun, but I do not have any money set aside or nothing. We go to Vegas for the shows and people watching, not to gamble.

Now, we sat there, and as we people watched, I was spun to look away from the machine and heard some noise. My elbow was resting on the machine behind me, and that machine made some noise and a button lite up. I turned to move and my elbow hit the button, and it started clicking. I looked up and it said there was 316 Credits. It was a Quarter slot machine. Now I can promise you, that when I sat down, there was no credits or anything on there, as thats one thing I do check for. I was staring in disbelief, when my bride walks over and hits "Print Credits".

There it was. $79 of credit. My lowly Elbow intimidated a slot machine to throw up 316 credits. We cashed the ticket and came away from our experience a little richer...

Some people have the green thumb. Others, the Midas Touch. I now know I have the previously unknown symptom of:

"The Golden Elbow!"

Happy M.... naw... ALL WOMEN DAY!

I hereby declare Mother's Day, All Women Day.

I am hoping, out of those who read this, them who are womens, who may or may not have kids, and over the age of .000000001 of a millisecond, had a fantastic ALL WOMEN DAY!

Here's to hoping you got a little spoiled from those you spoil with your smile, your love, your hug, your laugh, your hard work, your dedication, and your heart.

I love those that love me... even if it is a little bit.

I have found I have a large heart (NOT enlarged!). So room enough for everyone!

Bellagio.. too "B" or not two "B"?

By a chance that I would never pass up (and neither should anyone reading this), my beautiful Wife and I got the most spectacular gift. One night in the Penthouse Suite at the Bellagio

It was simply amazing. Are new friend Dario, our personal slave as I would affectionately call him, got us everything and anything we wanted. I had the best tasting Filet Mignon and Cheesecake with fresh strawberries ever made. Their menu said if there was anything we wanted not listed they would do what they could to find it. And they do. One item we couldn't pass up was the Chocolate Strawberries:

After dinner we went walking the strip. Now this was simply amazing because of my leg injury I have been almost immobile. But since I have being seeing my therapist and have started eating better, I have gained so much energy . It was fun being able to walk around and enjoy the sites again. I think I even surprised my bride :)

When we came back they had done what my Wife called "Turn Down Service" where they cleaned up after dinner and got the bed ready for the night. They replaced all towels used and even restocked the refrigerator. The bed was soooo comfy and that little teddy bear is now named "Bella"

Again, I tell you, anyone who ever has the chance to stay at the Bellagio, DO IT! It is something that you will remember for the rest of your life. I know I will. To live like a King for even just one day. Was so nice.

Thanks, B!
