The Golden Elbow

A few posts ago, I mentioned our trip to Vegas, where we stayed in the luxurious Bellagio. One story I wanted to share separately was a small adventure after we checked out. We got tickets to go see David Copperfield, the amazing Magician. We walked around Vegas a bit then a little bit before the show we sat at the slots to wait for the line to start.

Now, I do want to clarify somethings. One right off the bat, we do not gamble. Now I, like some, will have some change and drop a quarter in once in a great while for fun, but I do not have any money set aside or nothing. We go to Vegas for the shows and people watching, not to gamble.

Now, we sat there, and as we people watched, I was spun to look away from the machine and heard some noise. My elbow was resting on the machine behind me, and that machine made some noise and a button lite up. I turned to move and my elbow hit the button, and it started clicking. I looked up and it said there was 316 Credits. It was a Quarter slot machine. Now I can promise you, that when I sat down, there was no credits or anything on there, as thats one thing I do check for. I was staring in disbelief, when my bride walks over and hits "Print Credits".

There it was. $79 of credit. My lowly Elbow intimidated a slot machine to throw up 316 credits. We cashed the ticket and came away from our experience a little richer...

Some people have the green thumb. Others, the Midas Touch. I now know I have the previously unknown symptom of:

"The Golden Elbow!"
