Spore!

Anyone who knows me knows how I like video games. A little while ago (ie 18 months ago) I heard about a game called Spore by the creator of the Sims and Simcity. Being a huge fan of such, I anticipated this game. Then in August I heard it was to be released on a Sunday in September. A SUNDAY!?!?!? Ugh.. that means I had to wait a WHOLE day before I could play. But, I did.

Monday shows up and I head to work with the plan on gonig to lunch to buy it. I was a little bored at work so I read some reviews.. and they were HORRIBLE! Something about a license or a DRM that would only allow you to load the game three times before you have to call in and get another install, blah blah blah... a bunch of hackers were crying. Whoopdy do. I read the five star reviews and people were actually enjoying the game.

So I buy it. And I am having a blast. For those that don't know, I am an Artist. I love to design. And this game allows me to design EVERYTHING. From the one cell creature all the way to my own space ship, car, tank, boat, and airplane... with GUNS! If you delve even deeper, you can change the color of EVERYTHING.

What a nice game. I have a blast. Spend hours on it. And, uh oh... I can only install it one more time since one went on my main PC and the other on my MAC laptop. You see... one disk allows the install on both the PC and MAC... that to me.. is the awesome in and of itself.
